China
This could be your next unforgettable destination
Although China isn’t the most liberal of holiday destinations, an LGBTQ+ family holiday is still possible. Simply give us a call and we can talk through what a family holiday will be like here, plus the cities and sights we highly recommend combining.
There are small but vibrant LGBTQ+ scenes in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai and lots to do in each city. From Beijing, head to the Forbidden City (an incredible 9,000-room palace), be rewarded with amazing views at the top of Shanghai Tower or treat the kids to a couple of days at Disneyland Hong Kong, where you can tick off character dining, fabulous parades and cool rides. Whichever part of China you choose, wandering through weird and wonderful markets and seeing authentic street food is sure to be a talking point when they get back to school.
Elle Says:
If you’re travelling without kids and are up for a challenge, take on the Great Wall of China. We can help organise a guided trek of part of the wall, which is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
If you have any questions about this destination, then let me know. I can help you plan a holiday here and give you recommendations that you may not have thought of!
